For starters, no one there knows how to do a fade. A FADE. IN A MILITARY TOWN. Second you might as well just put your head in blender before going here and asking for a fade. Hairs an inch long sticking out of the back of my husband's head right now. We walked out after three people tried to show the blind lady cutting his hair how to do a freaking fade. Thanks for the free hair cut.

Well, you get what you pay for, I suppose...My schedule is unpredictable, so I've liked having a walk-in salon right down the road--but the last two times I've been there, I've left disappointed. All I get is a simple, partial highlight (a warmer blonde onto my natural dirty blonde) and a haircut. It's usually several months before I have a day to myself to get my hair done, so when I go into this salon, I'm expecting a quality job that will last. Not so. They never extend my highlights to my roots. Ever. So the day after all their copious amounts of volumizing products washes out, my roots are already visible, and it's pitiful. The day after, I look like like a month or more has gone by since I was seen. This has never happened anywhere else I have gotten highlights, even other affordable walk-in salons (even if those salons gave me a bad cut, they always highlighted my roots). There's no excuse for leaving my roots obvious, except just poor, sloppy work. Then, this time, I got my hair style changed to something easier and more manageable for day-to-day, since I have a toddler and will soon have another baby. The cut is uneven. I even explicitly stated, "My hair always parts in the same place, no matter what you do to it. I've stopped fighting with it." The stylist did not cut it to my natural part. I do NOT have the time to spend fixing my hair every morning to the way she cut it (and this is apart from the fact my bangs are uneven thanks to whatever BS technique she was using; I have never seen another stylist do the same trick to cut bangs). That was kind of the whole point in the first place. I'm done with this place, walk-ins accepted or not. I'll take my money and my time to a salon that knows how to cut hair. The worst part is, I tipped generously, because the poor quality of the haircut was not evident until the day after, when I could see the damage done.

Maria did my hair, not only did she have a large order to fill but she did it beautifully! Three different colors plus highlights, great price and even greater results! Love my hair!
